  2. ..B... PLA... Hmmm... Robinsons standards seem to be falling - and not only in Manila, then...? "We apologize for the inconvenience. Please be patient. We are working hard to serve you better. You are going to love the new look..." Or words to that effect. Then every time you go back there, it's worse than before. Lose tiles all over the place. Several elevators not working. Toilets closed for renovation...
  3. The Sun has set and a lazy moon is on its back. This is the scene from Robinson’s Plaza in Lipa City, Philippines. Maybe someone should fix the sign on the plaza!

    Abandon Home

It looks like a haunted house!
  5. Wow! Beautiful sunset. Lovely!! The "bangka" fishing boat has been captured below the setting sun, making this a perfect photo!
  6. Taken from the Waterfront at Balete, Batangas in the Philippines, the Sun sets over the Taal Volcano and lake. Few people seem to be aware of what a wonderful location Balete is to witness this daily show.

  8. Taal in the Philippines is an active volcano. She gives a reminder with a puff of steam that she is only sleeping!

  12. PR737 on the stand with setting sun providing a beautiful backdrop at Bangkok Suvanabumi Airport. Waiting for boarding to commence, for a flight from BKK -MNL on the evening of 23rd March 2024
  13. "...and the Ben Ainslee sailing centre to the left ( or should that be “Starboard” or “Port”)?" Well now... That would depend on whether you were looking forward or aft...!!
  14. A familiar view of Camber Dock in Portsmouth with the MV Victoria of Wight in the distance waiting to sail on the 17:00 departure to Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. In the foreground, waiting its next sailing is the MV St Claire with the iconic Spinnaker Tower visible to the right, and the Ben Ainslee sailing centre to the left ( or should that be “Starboard” or “Port”)?

  15. A wonderfully cluttered view of Camber Dock in Old Portsmouth! Local fishing vessels jostle with Wightlink ferries against the backdrop of the wonderful Bridge Tavern, Ben Ainslie Sailing Centre and the iconic lipstick shaped Number 1 Gunwharf Quays tower block.

  16. This is the Keep of Guildford Castle in Surrey, South East England, which was established in the 13th Century and was the County Gaol for many years until at least the 18th Century. Although the earthworks remain, many of the castle features have now vanished, but the Keep remains.

  17. Guildford is regarded as the “County Town” of the County of Surrey in South East England. This view is taken from the ruins of Guildford Castle and looks across the town to the Cathedral on Stag Hill around 2 x miles away. Guildford is often mistakenly considered as a city as it has a Cathedral, but although the granting of city status has been applied for in the past, the Royal Warrant has never been given.
