Unit 484 001 has the Signal (as shown by the “Off Indicator”) to depart with 2D23 18:00 Ryde Esplanade to Shanklin service on Island Line. A beautiful study of 484 001 in the low sunlight.

Well not quite so old! Although the body and bogies are 1980s vintage, the rest of the train was only built in 2021!
