The Robin Hood is close to the corner of Soi 35 and it is directly opposite Benjasiri Park. They have quite a reasonable selection of beers - including, of course, the good old standard: Guinness!

I try to avoid the very touristy British and Irish-type pubs when I am in Bangkok. But the commonly available Thai beers are dreadful and Hey! Any port in a storm, as they say!!
