Wind Turbines in Tanay, Rizal province, Philippines

These are actually wind turbines - not windmills!! They are designed and used for generating renewable energy in the form of electricity from the wind.

As opposed to "windmills," which, as the name suggests, were used for milling grain in times gone by...
