A mixed media painting by Mike Herrera, depicting an underwater scene with a fish and some rocks in stark relief. I am not sure what media Mike used to get the rocks and the fish in relief but I do remember that this was quite a striking painting. If I am not mistaken, this would have been seen in Rufee Art Gallery in Mabini Street, Ermita, Manila sometime around the year 2005?© Mike Herera estate

A mixed media relief art painting by Mike Herrera, seen in one of the art galleries in Ermita, Manila, sometime around the year 2005? I am not sure what sort of technique Mike used to get the (cave wall rocks, or whatever they are supposed to be) into such stark relief? 'Very interesting painting, though. -

This is a mixed-media painting from the "Electric People" series, by Filipino artist, Nisael Agag. It depicts some kind of warrior king, resplendent in his exquisitely bejeweled robes - with an enormous erection! This painting blows my mind every time I look at it!
