  12. This Magpie arrived on a litter bin in the evening sunshine in the Hogmoor Inclosure only to find its partner had just raided it! The partner Magpie does looked a bit miffed!

  13. It is said that a lot of holly berries mean a hard winter ahead. These berries were photographed in the Hogmoor Closure on Sunday 28/11/2021 and about 7 x hours later a snowstorm swept over the area!

  22. The Longmoor Military Railway was an extensive military railway system around the Bordon area of Hampshire until the late 1960s and early 1970s. Before the main railway was built, an old narrow gauge line used to exist for moving military equipment, but this was lifted over 120 x years ago. This is one of the old narrow gauge rails abandoned at that time which is shown by the tree has actually grown around the rail!
