Class 484 004 approaches Yarbridge (about 1/4 mile South of Brading) on its way to Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.

'Looks like a bit of stormy weather at sea there, right? Wrong!! That was a winter storm, accompanied by a storm surge - whilst the ship was TIED-UP ALONGSIDE IN PORT!! You can't see the quayside (off to the left of the photo) - because it was completely underwater, having been been inundated by the storm surge... Some unseasonably cold and wet days in the UK has seen heavy rain showers and strong Sunshine. A recent rain shower has passed and the Sun pitching in from the West creates a beautiful Rainbow above Whitehill in Hampshire. If there is truth about the “Crock of Gold” at the end of the Rainbow, then it is in the “Great Wall” Chinese takeaway! 😆
