I know nothing about digital art... What is the basic process involved here?

You start with a photo that you have.. then you use computer software like photo shop elements 5 and I did some layering of different painting and or brush strokes layered together .....kind of hard to explain sense i am still learning this process my self....

Thanks for your comment. This picture was taken with my old camera , which was a 3.2 pixel it was a great camera but it died on me last year. My new camera is good too. But i still like the old one . someday i am going to look around an see if i could fix it....Anyway Have a great day!!!!!
