Terrier Tank “Freshwater”
The Class A1 “Terriers” were designed by William Stroudly and built for the London Brighton and South Coast Railway (LBSCR) in the 1870s. Known for their diminutive size, distinctive exhaust and strength, several have entered preservation.
This one spent a few bizarre years as a pub sign on the Mainland on Hayling Island!
