Camber Dock is in Portsmouth a city on the South Coast of England. It is an important military and commercial port, and the home of the UK’s Royal Navy.
In this shot from Camber Dock, the landmark Spinnaker Tower, Ben Ainslie Sailing Centre, Gunwharf Ferry Terminal and the wonderful Bridge Tavern can be seen against the backdrop of the passing storm clouds. High tide is also approaching as can be seen by the water levels in the Dock.
I took this photo during my Boracay trip last summer. This is my first time in Boracay and definitely not the last. I will post more of my travel photos in my "explore" album 😁
Sometimes ships work in sunset photos - and sometimes they don't!
I did try to crop this one but when I removed the ship from the photo - whilst trying to maintain a sensible aspect ratio - I found I was losing some of that lovely glow of the sunset reflected in the water.
So I decided to just leave the photo as it is!

The Korean-registered Cable Ship, SEGERO out in the Pacific Ocean - doing what cable ships do!
The colours of the ship blend in nicely with that beautiful tropical sunset!

Bath City appeal in vain for a “Handball” offence in their 2-1 defeat to Aldershot Town in the FA Cup at Aldershot. This was Aldershot’s first goal of the afternoon and the tie was won in the 8th minute of stoppage time with Aldershot’s second goal. The FA Cup is the oldest “Knockout” football competition in the world having been founded in the 19th Century. This is also the first time Aldershot have met Bath City in a “Senior” game and the first time an Aldershot side have met a Bath City side in any competition since 1939!
