In 1995, I decided to try painting. Two decades later, I succeeded in finishing a piece to my satisfaction, "Veneficus Lumen". In retrospect, my personal battle with mental illness & homeless proved to be the greatest obstacles to my artistic development. Abused both physically & sexually as a child, it was very hard for me to reach a point of acceptance where I could begin to find peace within myself and ultimately with my Art. In the end however faith won out over self doubt.
