Hey all.

I'm a struggling amature comic arist, I LOVE producing comics but struggle to make interesting and dynamic pannels. That and I can't seem to be able to keep my drive long enough to maintain constant production.

SO!

Anyone got an ideas, hits or tips that may help?

I know this is a topic on ranks due to posts, but what about one on the content/amount you submit to the Gallery also?

Could be pretty cool, the name above seem cool to me.

Though in my opinion "cool arist" don't sound too...cool! HA!

Thought I would start a little topic on the fine subject of music.

So, all you artists and the like, or even all you forum crawlers, what music egst you goin'?

I myself, listen to Metal, from Black and Death, so Dark EBM and techno-industrial.

Though, I find that when creating a specific peice, puttin' on a specific kind of music can help get a feel for what you are creatin'

For example, I'm in the process of creating a Silent Hill fan comic [For those of you who know of Silent Hill] So I find listening to ambiant noise or something of the sort helps me get that feel for my work.

SO! Back to the point, what music help you create! OR ehat music do you love?

Hi, I just found this site. I'm 30 years old and am from West Virginia. I just started painting recently, despite the fact that I can't even draw. I've never really been interested in art, as in, creating things, because I've never considered myself particularly creative let alone talented. I always have enjoyed taking pictures though since finally getting a cheap digital camera a few years ago. Well anyway, I will put my paintings up for sale on eBay as I get a few more completed. But for now, the first place to see what I've done and find newly completed pieces will be on my web site. Generally, my themes are along the lines of surreal, freaky, bizarre, gothic, horror and other dark stuff, although I'm also just another 'crazy old cat lady' and so I'm painting portraits of my cats now. But anyway, I'll leave the direct link to my gallery below.

Just 'cos you don't think you are good at drawin'/paintin' don't mean you should not do it and enjoy it! 'Tis all part of the fun! I'm quite interested in your styles so I'll be checkin' out your gallery for sure. "crazy old cat lady" eh? HA! I approve! Do love cats myself so I'll have to check out the images of your moggy's you've created!
