Not much travel recently

Well... Like most people, I haven't had a lot of travel to write about over the last year. I finally got off a cable ship where I had been stranded for months, in Dubai on the 2nd of June 2020 - and I have been in sunny Somerset ever since. Added to that, I have had a severe bout of illness, (not Covid), for the last three months, whereby I have been virtually housebound - with or without travel restrictions. Anyway, it is still cold but the sun is shining. There are signs of spring all around - and I am finally well "on the mend" from the illness that I have been suffering from.-

Well, I would prefer to be able to take my mind off the relentless doom and gloom of the corona virus when I spend time on my own website. But, I do risk being accused of having my head in the sand - or worse - if I say nothing and completely ignore the subject. So here's my take on the war against the virus... And then we can move on to something else, if you please??! Panic slowly... Let's hope that there is still a life - or at least, a job - to come back to in three months from now - when "they" will have to start letting people get back to work - with or witho
