A bit of a rare sight, this one... Portland Harbour in Dorset, South of England - on a clear and flat calm evening! (It's usually been blowing a right old "hooly" whenever I have been there!) Poto taken from on board c.s. A glorious dawn, with the ship heading for home! This photo was taken from aboard c.s. Cable Retriever, on passage to Batangas after repairing a submaine telecoms cable deep under the sea, somewhere near Taiwan. The mountains in the background are inshore from the coast of Zambales, Northern Luzon. At the time this photograph was taken, (April, 2008) the ship was somewhere in the vicinity of Cabangan and San Felipe, South of Iba in the province of Zambales. Somewhere amongst those lofty peaks are Mount Quimalogong and Mount Pundillo Ni Lima1 point
