  1. According to the plaque, the sculpture entitled "Landed" is by Les Johnson and it was cast at the Bronze Age Foundry in 2008. The plaque reads: "LANDED" This sculpture has been erected as a tribute to the history of the communities of the Royal Docks and the men and women who worked there from 1855 -1983.   13. The XPT is a class of train which has heavy design influence and engineering taken from the British Rail HST from the mid 1970s. Most HST units in the UK have now been withdrawn, but quite a few Australian cousin XPT Units are still in service! This is the already 34 x min late 12:47 departure for Grafton!

  38. A bright and sunny day is closing across Aldershot and the mackerel clouds indicate change is on the way with the weather. The picture is taken at Aldershot FC at their game against FC Halifax Town which ended 3-4 in favour of the Yorkshire team. The floodlights, setting sun and clouds give a dramatic backdrop.
