That's an absolutely brilliant idea! Nice one! And very handy for a nice pint of Guinness afterward. Wish I was there! Anyway, welcome to ArtFreaks.com and I hope we can see some of the class's work here in the Gallery here! I'd love to see more amateur art work at ArtFreaks.com, as this is what the original concept of the site was all about... (For those more interested in the professional side of things, I am trying to encourage ArtBlast.com in that direction...)

Well, I should have a bit of spare cash next year, which will take care of the cost of setting the thing-up. But with 12 fully-fledged membership sites on the go already, I simply don't have the time for monitoring any more. So I am going to need the promise of a dedicated, thoroughly spam-hating, very aggressive full-time moderator to keep an eye on the thing for me - and eject any spammers with all due haste on a daily basis! I'll also need some suggestions for the different categories of the Forums, Gallery set-up etc., etc... Any offers?

Google and Co... I have given-up with them a long time ago! They keep on changing their algorithms every five minutes anyway. If they want to send me traffic, well that is very kind of them - but if not, it's up to them! I just figure that if If I can make websites that people like and find useful, then the word will get around sooner or later - with or without Google! So if any member here can give us a little 'plug' in their blog or whatever social networking site they may happen to belong to, then we would be immensely grateful! Any views on the mega rip-off industry of so-called SEO - the Search Engine Optimization that people seem to spend an inordinate amount of time, money and worry on?

'First thing I noticed was the 'ghosts' and I think they are brilliant! I wasn't sure if they were ghosts or just reflections in the glass but, either way, they turn a fairly normal "still-life" into an interesting picture!

Well.. You done a very good job of it! (A lot of people seem to have quite some trouble drawing hands... You obviously figured it out already but for any struggling beginner who doesn't know this - the trick is to just draw what you see, not what you think you see. One good way of doing this, is to look at the space around the hand. If it is white, fine! Use a black pencil to draw the edge of the white bit!!! It really doesn't matter what colour it is. Just draw the space around the hand, rather than the hand itself. And then fill-in the detail like finger nails and wrinkles, (if you've got any!!)
