Second Officer, Vic Rolfe ("Yours Truly,") (AKA Inspector Cluso! )very hard at work aboard the cable repair ship c.s. Pacific Guardian, on a telecommunications cable repair in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. I very foolishly left the Philipppines in the heat of April and thinking that I was heading for sunny Bermuda - with no cold weather gear whatsoever. I got a very rude awakening when I realised that the ship would be heading for the Northern part of the North Atlantic!! (The "I've been to London" wooly hat was an emergency purchase in London's Gatwick airport!! Photo by STE ( C ) - (otherwise known as a Second Cable Engineer!) - Fred Logan
