And finally, one of my own pictures! OK, the Pac G doesn't look her best in this shot - but those rust streaks are the result of some hard work in the North Atlantic. One hundred percent "askal" (mongrel - lit. "street dog"!) This is my good friend Scruffy, one of the dogs on a farm where I sometimes stay in Mindanao, in the Southern part of the Philippines. Scruffy askal he may well be, but he's such a lovely dog! Here he is, wondering if it's time yet for another long walk around the rice fields...
