Nice view! I can almost smell the fresh country air!

I must admit, though... I am not a great fan of the tilted horizon technique - but then again, I'm just an old-fashioned fogie, so don't let that put you off!!

  1. Is this the Kennon Road? (I don't even know if that is the right spelling?) But I do remember being terrified, sitting in the back seat of a bus one time when I went to Baguio... Every time we went round one of those hairpin bends, my ass was literally hanging over a several hundred meters shear drop into the valley below!:o:crazy::shok:

  2. Wow! Nice place! :) I like the tricycle! I also love the countryside - especially in the Philippines.

By the way, I like your idea of taking a photo whilst walking...

Very innovative; I'd never have thought of that!

It doesn't matter at all, that the photo is blurred... In this case, (and the one with "the kid") it actually adds to the effect. The important thing here is that you saw a scene worth photographing, you took the shot and you caught a moment in time forever!

You definitely have an eye for shapes and symbolism. In my imagination, that tree is like a man, standing all alone by the side of the road - a syou speed by in your car... The back of the seat, reflected in the window glass is just perfect.

  3. This is great! Noel! If you can get a few more images into your member's gallery, I'll fix up a permanent link to it on the home page. (As one of the pioneering artists at artfreaks.com, the link will be under "The Artists" - so it will display every time someone accesses the home page...) Keep those paintings coming! :)
