About Me

  1. Another hot day draws to a close on the Costa Blanca between Alicante and El Capbello and the orange suns sinks in the West.

    © Tim Penycate

  2. Moments after the last picture was take, the clouds seem to boil as the Sun has now gone!

  3. It was difficult to decide which gallery I should post this in. It is the Second Half of a football match between Badshot Lea and Guildford City (in Wrecclesham) and looking West the beautiful late Sunset is clear to see! The game finished 2-1 to Badshot Lea!

  4. The Sun has set at Badshot Lea FC and at Half Time there is a very atmospheric view from the Corner Flag!

  5. The Sun is setting to the West of the Hogmoor Inclosure creating a beautiful backdrop to the silhouetted pine trees and electricity power lines.

  6. A dog walker at Sunset in the Hogmoor Inclosure with the backdrop of a bright sky and backlit clouds.

  7. The Sun has set a few minutes ago and left these beautiful backlit clouds in the Hogmoor Inclosure.

  8. We were in Batanggas to have some photoshoot and after we go home I got this beautiful sunset. This is from Laiya Batangas Philippines.
  9. A dramatic skyscape sees early sunset across the Solent from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight. The now decomisioned " Diving Tower" at Fort Blockhouse in Gosport forms a backdrop.

  10. An evocative picture of late Sunset at Camber Dock in Portsmouth.

    Belfast Docks

The Port of Belfast with the last light of a winter's sunset reflected on the calm waters of the harbour.
  12. A thunderstorm has passed over the Isle of Wight and the setting sun drops through the receding storm clouds. View from Bembridge Fort at Culver Down on the Isle of Wight.

  13. Wight Ryder I sails out of Portsmouth Harbour again, against the backdrop of a Winter late Sunset over Gosport forming the 16:15 sailing to Ryde Pier Head.

  14. The Sun sets over the Isle of Wight and the Solent in Portsmouth . The old submarine escape training facility tower at the now closed HMS Dolphin facility adds to the atmosphere.

  15. Due to shipping movements in and out of Portsmouth Harbour, Wight Ryder 2 had to make slightly longer sailing to the East of Spitbank Fort on the 15:45 crossing from Ryde Pier Head to Portsmouth. The long and slower crossing allowed for this beautiful image to be capture of the Sunset above the Fort and the Isle of Wight.

  16. The Sun has gone for the day and the last rays are seen from Ryde Pier on the Isle of Wight looking toward Fawley Oil Refinery to the West. A very nice view to end a day's work on the Isle of Wight.

    © Tim Penycate

  17. The lights across the pier at Ryde shining against the rapidly darkening sky.

    © Tim Penycate

  18. The only regular commercial "Hovercraft" operation in the world runs between Portsmouth and Ryde on the Isle of Wight. As dusk gathers a service from Portsmouth arrives across the wet sand at the Ryde terminal.

    © Tim Penycate

  19. Dusk is gathering as the Sun sets in the West as seen from the Waterfront at Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

    © Tim Penycate

  20. The last rays of the sun light the clouds above Ryde Pier on the Isle of Wight.

    © Tim Penycate

  21. The sun has set as the 19:15 Portsmouth Harbour -Ryde Pier Head Wightlink ferry docks at the Pier Head. It will form the return sailing at 19:45 hrs.

    © Tim Penycate

  22. The storm over the Isle of Wight has passed and the sun starts to sink over the receding clouds.
