Haslemere is an intermediate Station on the rail route from London Waterloo to Portsmouth. As a part of the re-signalling, Haslemere Signalbox closed in late October 2025 with signalling now transferred to Basingstoke. The Signalbox at Haslemere had served for 130 x years and is seen here on the last full day of operation.

After several very wet days, the pitch at Love Lane (Home of Petersfield Town) is very muddy. Under the floodlights, on a surprisingly mild January day, Petersfield beat Andover 3-2 in a Wessex League fixture.
