A Class 484 alongside a withdrawn Class 483 at Ryde St Johns clearly shows how much bigger they are! Class 483 were originally built for the "Deep" level "Tube" in London and came across to the Isle of Wight in 1989. The Class 484 worked originally on the Sub Surface "Underground" in London and arrived on the Island in 2021 to take over! The 484 is much bigger in height!1 point

My Pit Bull Terrier, Shoubi, making herself at home! October, 2007 - Philippines Shoubi has lost a bit of weight, lately. She has become very fussy with what she will and will not eat. Argentina corned beef just WILL NOT do, anymore. Nor will most of what I am quite happy to eat myself! Lately, I just found out that she is quite partial to "tinapa," (a kind of smoked, sardine, I think?!) Only problem is, tinapa is quite expensive - especially in the kind of quantities that Shoubi would need in order to make her fat again...?!!1 point

Photo taken on a bright, sunny but windy day in, 2007. This photo marks the end of an era - not only for the c.s. (cable ship) Wave Venture but for the old Cable and Wireless Marine, (latterly Global Marine Systems,) Victoria Station. At the time this photo was taken, Wave Venture was loading cable from the depot and preparing to leave Victoria - probably for the last time...
