    Cumulus Nimbus

    The hottest day on record in Manila in April 2024 sees a huge thunderstorm building to the North of the city. Unfortunately it came to nothing and the city went on sweltering. This view from Bonifacio Garden City appears to show a flying saucer, but it is likely a reflection of a light from within the building where the picture was taken.

  2. A Island Line Class 484 Unit pulls away from Ryde St John’s Road into the approaching rain on its way to Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.

  3. Wight Ryder I creates a wake behind it on a sailing from Ryde to Portsmouth and seems to be running from the setting Sun over the Isle of Wight!

  4. It is late dusk in Portsmouth as the Gosport ferry heads across the harbour on its short journey from Portsmouth Harbour to Gosport. A Portsmouth Harbour Pilot launch crosses in the opposite direction.

  25. A night time view of the busiest railway station in the UK which has about 2200 trains passing through in each 24 x hour period. In the background the new tower blocks around Nine Elms are clearly visible!
