    26th April, 2022 - My Aunty Bridie's funeral mass.
  2. Ah... Well, at least I am lucky in that respect. Jenny and Michelle are both a lot better artists than I am!
  3. I used to love rough and heavy hand-made watercolour papers for my pastels... I wonder if my kids have left me any, after three years away from the Philippines? (...'Find out when I finally get back there!)
  4. Lovely painting. And I agree with you... A lot of people prefer to choose their own frame or mounting. Nice!

    Penalty! 1-0!

  12. Looking good! A positively gleaming train at London Padington station waiting to depart on a Great Western Railways express service to Bristol Templemeads. London Padington is, of course, the station from which Padington Bear set out on his world travels... (Or something like that?!!) Well, I don't know if Padington Station was where he started from but he certainly was there at some point... I once saw a picture of him there with his bag and a spare jar of marmalade for the journey!!
  13. Welcome back!

  14. 'Sign of the times... Mind you, this is in the South West of England - so a very slightly milder climate than darkest Hampshire!
