The "Roman Gate" is one of the three named entrances to the Hogmoor Inclosure (the other two being the Gilbert White Gate and the Railway Gate). They reflect the local history of the area. Facing west, it is a good spot for a sunset picture from the Roman Gate.© Tim Penycate

The Hogmoor Inclosure is a large area of heathland in Whitehill/Bordon, Hampshire. The sentinels are wooden carvings which have been placed strategically to "guard" the Inclosure!
