  1. Gorse is a native shrub to the UK and grows mainly on heathland . The distinctive yellow flowers are very intensive and abundant this year! This is in the Hogmoor Inclosure in Hampshire, England.,

  8. Pictured at Fremantle Station in Western Australia, the above train is about to depart to Perth. These units bear a family resemblance to the Class 701 Units (and cousins) in the UK, which isn’t really a surprise as they are manufactured by Bombadier and Downer Rail. The UK units are a Bombadier design!

  13. The XPT is a class of train which has heavy design influence and engineering taken from the British Rail HST from the mid 1970s. Most HST units in the UK have now been withdrawn, but quite a few Australian cousin XPT Units are still in service! This is the already 34 x min late 12:47 departure for Grafton!
