  1. The Longmoor Military Railway was an extensive military railway system around the Bordon area of Hampshire until the late 1960s and early 1970s. Before the main railway was built, an old narrow gauge line used to exist for moving military equipment, but this was lifted over 120 x years ago. This is one of the old narrow gauge rails abandoned at that time which is shown by the tree has actually grown around the rail!
